I use this method on every problem in CDP to either get the answer, or eliminate it down to two choices and then look for tunnels/ visualize it if needed. Does line counting get you the answer or AT LEAST eliminate it down to two choices?

I wouldn't recommend using it because the real DAT TFE is much more difficult. Line couting on real DAT might help you eliminate 1 choice but its not worth wasting the time doing it.

When I took the DAT, line counting did not help whatsoever. Pretty much all of the options had the same number of lines. What differentiated them was whether or not certain lines were solid or dashed. Visualization is your best bet. The more practice problems you do, the better at visualizing you'll be. The first month of practicing TFE, I could not visualize the answer at all. I kept reviewing the correct answers, though, and this really helped me to see what they were asking for. 🙂

Don't even think about it. Line counting works on CDP, not on the real thing. CDP is cake compared to the real deal.

I took the Dat today and I used line counting for TFE and it worked to narrow about 9 problems down to 2 possible choices, so it helped me out a lot.
