This site provides some pretty good info on becoming better at critical reading and thinking. Might be good for those of you looking to take the April 2003 mcat.

With a little luck on Oct 3 i'll never need this link. critical reading

I don't know about other people, but I think the MCAT verbal is a weird compilation of rediculous questions and answers, all to be done under intense psychological stress and not enough time.

As a former English major-type/languages, big-time reader etc., I still feel the Verbal is a sadistic torture section that does a real disservice to true 'critical thinking'. Your site is great Mr Z, but I think the MCAT section is it's own crazy thing.

Ok, do I sound completely depressed and discouraged? I am dreading the score reporting so much .... :( :(
