linkage and crossing over

I wonder whether we need to prepare for calculation of linkage or crossing over or not.

I mean I could see normal calculation like sex linked (ex color blind) in destroyer. However I never see the question related to linkage and crossing over.

How detail we need to know for linkage and crossingover?

I'm guessing straight Mendelian genetics (3:1 or 9:3:3:1 ratios) or x-linked only

In genetics we had to do this and find which was in the middle and which was the double crossover. You will NOT have to do this for the test. The closest you'll see to this is the one problem in destroyer and its very straight forward.

About the ratios you should be familiar with them but its not directly related to the question that was asked.
