ok i know what epistasis and pleiotrophy is but whats the difference between this and linked genes?

so lets say you have a trait that codes for freckles and a trait that codes for red hair on the same chromosome...that means they are linked...they will not segregate to seperately into different gamets but they will segregate together because htey are on the same chromosome...

no epistasis is the modification of a gene by another, basically one gene masks the trait of another gene...its completely different
