Yes. Great School. Have you visited at all? Dr. Campbell and Dr. Davis are great founding deans, and have that school heading in the right direction.

You will have to write two short essays and meet a few professors. And of course it will include campus tour and a free lunch. 🙂 Don't worry, they are very friendly and professional. Just be yourself.

I have applied, but other than a confirmation in regard to my application reaching them, and the updates to info they have on file via PharmCAS, I have not heard from them.

From all of the feedback I have heard, Lipscomb is a wonderful place to get the education for your PharmD while being supported and encouraged to grow spiritually!

I only took the PCAT in October, so perhaps I will be fortunate enough to get an invite once the scores are posted!

I just interviewed at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy, and came away impressed 😱. The facility and technology is some of the best around. I encourage all of you to apply to this College of Pharmacy!

That's what I thought too, because I wrote down on my list of schools earlier on that the supplemental was $50. Then I went to the webpage yesterday and saw $150. I'm confused. Help! Here's the link below.

The $150 was the application fee last year when they were not apart of the Pharmcas system yet. SO yes, $50 is the supp fee this year.

Flying in on Dec. 2nd--My parents still live there and I haven't seen them in a year, so I will probably stay with them or at my in-laws. What about you?

I can't find anywhere cheap around the hotel for under $400 roundtrip (expedia), the closest I found was for some place called red roof inn listed as 12 miles away from lipscomb for $394, I hope taxi service is good.

how's cab service in nashville? i've only ever used cabs in tourist spots like vegas/cancun where they're already waiting every where you turn.

Unfortunately, you will have to call the cab company. There are no cabs waiting everywhere in Nashville. Go to google for more info. about this. The red roof inn is only a few miles away from Lipscomb. It shouldn't cost you too much for a cab. Why don't you rent a car instead?

I too have an interview there on Dec 3. I went on Orbitz, typed in the address and zipcode. And I found a Hampton Inn nearby for $75. I booked this yesterday, so I am not sure if it is still available. Good luck. See you at the interview.

you might try renting from enterprise..I was under 25 when I got married and we got a really reasonable rate for the car...

I gave my interview on November. It went pretty well and the interviewer told me that they would love to have me there. I was impressed by their interest in geriatrics and other social issues. I feel like I belong there. But the problem is that they have not responded back to me yet and I am getting worried.

Any one has any idea when they will start responding?

You will have to wait 2-3 weeks for the decision. It is holiday now. You might have to wait a little longer. Be patient and confident!

No dice for me man, I called and spoke to Laura and no letter is coming my way. I'm on the hold for later consideration list, I wonder if that's fancy for waitlist or even worse, a euphemism for "try again next year"

On another note, she said that the committee has taken a break and won't meet again until mid-january, so whatever letters are out are out.

Hey!! Got a letter last night..I am definitely going to Lipscomb. Don't give up though because if I remember correctly, Laura said that being in the hold group means you will be re-considered at the upcoming admissions meetings all the way through May..so there is still a pretty good chance!

Have you heard from any other schools? I know Belmont has said that they won't contact anyone until January.

I interviewed on Tuesday January 13 and I received my acceptance letter yesterday!! Lipscomb here I come!
