I'm bummed I didn't receive one. I probably won't since it's coming up quick and the 31st is their last interview date. But good luck, you'll be great!!
 
For those accepted to Lipscomb..Has anyone else filed their FAFSA? If so, how long do we need to wait before we will be contacted with Financial Aid info? Mine has already been filed and accepted but this is the first year I have done the FAFSA so I am a little unsure on what I need to expect.

I actually emailed Melanie (our financial aid contact) asking this same question. She said that once you have filed, there is nothing else you need to do at this point. The next step is completing the loan applications, which she said we will do at the orientation in May.
 
cant wait for my interview day!!!,, heard so many great things bout this school already, i think im definitely going if i am accepted!!😍

so i interviewed here 3/31 and came away highly impressed, the facilities are amazing, the faculty is amazing as well. They are all very proffessional and the students are very enthusiastic about the school. I am definitely going here when i get accepted!!!!

I interviewed on the 10th and still havent heard anything. Someone said before that the 31st was their last round of interviews...so I'd imagine we should start hearing things in the next week. at least thats what I hope.

I was told they are gathering more information from some of the candidates and still making decisions.

OH thanks!! cuz im goin nuts already, i know they said we ll know by may 1st but was wonderin if others had heard too, but thx,, were u at that interview as well?

I will be there on orientation day with my fam, would like to meet up and discuss about housing options.

Another thing, people should get started with their (FAFSA-I think the due date is gone!) loan application soon. Remember "He who hesitates is lost."


It just struck my mind, WHY DON'T WE, PEOPLE THAT ARE LOOKING FOR ROOMS NEAR LIPSCOMB, GATHER TOGETHER during orientation day and discuss about the possibilities. What u all say...

i emailed the school this week asking about the decision letters. they haven't gotten back to me yet. you would think they'd give us SOME type of notification about our status... especially since orientation is in a few weeks. honestly, i think it's unprofessional of them.

wow dats suprising cuz laura replies me fast, she said they were sending them out on friday the 1st but i hv not gotten anything yet.... so still praying bout it. wen did u interview?
 
I've had similar problems from time to time contacting them.

Anyway, I was told they are now full.

It could very well be....good luck to you. I received an alternate letter yesterday which said they were all full now.

i interviewed back in march. yah, it's weird that she hasn't replied to my email yet. in the past she has always responded to me within a FEW HOURS. so, i dunno. apparently, they recently sent out decisions since pharm3tn just received his/her letter yesterday. i haven't gotten my mail yet today. we'll see...

now that i think about it, i wouldn't be surprised if many of the mid/late march interviews were for spots on the alternate list. hmmmmm... 😕 but i'm sure there will be a handful who decline their acceptance and people will get pulled off the alternate list. good luck to you guys =)

good luck to anyone on the alternate list that is banking on this school. to give you a little hope... i was placed on the alternate list for a school and recently got accepted. so there is still hope!! keep praying! in the end, things will work out exactly how they should. =)
 
Try emailing Paige. I just went to the campus again to visit on Wednesday and saw Paige there. She said that the class is now filled, but that Laura is out on vacation this week.
 
Is anyone going to orientation? I got the email and submitted my RSVP (with pic and t-shirt size). I am very excited about it!!

I was also placed on the alternate list, but got an acceptance call from Dr. Akers today!!! 😀 I am so excited and in shock too...I really wasn't expecting to be pulled off the list. Things really do work out exactly how they should...I really liked Lipscomb when I interviewed there. 😍

Haha, I think you got my spot. I called Laura that day and told her that I would be going to Mercer. I do feel a little sad not being able to go to Lipscomb, but Mercer is a lot closer to my house and by going to Mercer I'll be able to save a lot a money on rent. Lipscomb is a wonderful school with wonderful people, I hope you enjoy it!

i declined my acceptance offer this morning because i got into NOVA. it's a lot closer to home for me, but i really liked Lipscomb. 👍 i hope you get my spot! good luck! :xf:
 
At its June 24-28, 2009 meeting, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Board of Directors voted to award Candidate status to the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy.
