1) Why should I take you?
2) When did you first decide to be a doctor?
3) Do you think you'll get bored spending half your time in the OR?

every place i have been have asked the old faithful "why ob/gyn" and "why our program".

i came to medicine after a different career, and was asked what i learned in my first job that will help me in medicine, which i thought was a great question. also, be ready to explain your step scores if they are very different! most places have asked me that as well.

interestingly, not one place mentioned a presentation that i did recently at a conference.
