List of Most Common Diseases

Hello everyone,

I have been looking for a list of common diseases in the United States but all I can find on google are the top 10 or 20. Need some help finding some kind of stats that include more than 20 common diseases (also include how many cases, etc)

What do you need this for? How many do you need?

It depends on how you define it:

Cause of death: HD > Cancer > Stroke, etc...

vs.

Afflicted: 2 billion people (yes 1/3rd of the world population) is infected with Mtb. This may be the most common disease. Some might argue that anemia (e.g., Iron defiency) could be up there.

It's sort of a weird question.

Does need more boundaries to give an accurate answer.

Although (and maybe my dental colleagues could help me out) isn't "dental caries" ie cavities the number one disease in both this country and around the world?
