Thankfully I matched this year, but I know what it feels like not to.
I was hoping to start a thread to compile a list of unaccredited GI-centric fellowships currently available (Hepatology, Clinical Nutrition etc.) that may help. I have some insight into many of these programs and would be happy to give my 2 cents. Please add any I may have forgotten.

That's a tough question to answer.

I think it really depends on what you do with that extra fellowship. The contacts you make, the research you produce etc.

Also, expect a 2 year plan to get into GI if you didn't have too many interviews the first time applying.

Hi, I'm still learning about all these fellowships, I'm assuming I'm going to need to apply to these a year prior to starting? Therefore if I apply to GI and don't get in, I'll have to apply and wait a year before starting these fellowships correct?
