kaplan book (blud one)...also try to get your hands on kaplans biology book for the MCAT...the book is more thorough but very well organized...

Barrons -- good material for the PAT...decent overall questions....dont read the crap they teach..just do problems

topscore -- cd rom sold at www.scholarware.com

Lippincott -- good stuff of math section

also use your textbooks on stuff you're flaky on

The Kaplan MCAT study material was very comprehensive yet brief. I was very satisfied with the Kaplan MCAT Chemistry, Ochem, and Biology(best). Other things like the topscore, and Kaplan blue book was a great investment. Review your college text to solidify your understanding of subjects.
One tip: practice angles! Going into the test, I though this section of the exam would be the easiest in the PAT; I was wrong! If I intend to do the test again, I will use a protractor and make my own angles that are just a few degrees off to test my self.

I wish you much success on you exam.

Kaplan book
Barrons -- PAT was good, rest crap..
Kaplan Exams -- Helped a ton
topscore

I did not get the Exam Crackers 1001 Question books, but know someone who did and he got amazing scores. I would strongly urge you into looking into those books.

Good luck

When you say the Kaplan MCAT material, are you referring to the same big blue book? What I mean is that I bought both Kaplan DAT book and MCAT book and they both have an identical blue cover, except that the MCAT book is a bit thicker. Are you then saying that between these 2 books the Biology, Chem and OChem is better represented in the MCAT book than in the DAT book? I'm planning on beginning studying for the DAT next month, so thanks for the feedback.

I am unsure exactly how to find or buy these individual MCAT subject books from Kaplan. I studied with a partner (highly recommended) who was studying for the MCAT. She had tons of MCAT material; I found these MCAT subject books more useful then the big blue book. They are specifically called MCAT Home Study Notes, and are in different colors for each subject. For example, green for o-chem, red for bio, and blue for g-chem. The organic chemistry book is about 280 pages. I hope this help you find them.
