After exploring a different career option, re-deciding I wanted to pursue medicine, blowing off studying for the MCAT to concentrate on my major's classes (Geology), and intensely studying for the MCAT for about a week, I got back the "meh" score of 28N (12 VR, 9 BS, 7 PS).
Fast forward through a summer of meticulous school selection and careful grooming of my personal statement and secondary applications along with continuing interview preparation, I've had 5 interview invites and 1 acceptance.
