Is it a good idea to list your away rotation under "Medical Education" on ERAS? I have heard conflicting things. I don't want to imply that I am unwilling or uninterested in other institutions, but I think it is important to mention.
Also, I am getting a LOR from the PD at the away institution, but it is not in ERAS yet and I'm planning on submitting my app tomorrow.
Thanks!

I've never heard of people doing that, they will see your letter and ask you about aways at interviews.

typically the Medical Education section is just for stuff like med school or if you did a fellowship before residency. away rotations don't usually go on the CV.

I didn't put mine down, partly for the reason you mentioned. They're audition rotations, and I didn't want to seem to favor certain institutions, when I may not.

Also, I just had a feeling that it wasn't appropriate. Seems like it'd be better to talk about during interviews if you did something really cool on that rotation (like, I'm currently doing a neuropsych imaging rotation and learning some really neat stuff about fMRI's). I'll definitely talk about it in my interview if it comes up, but it's not all that important in the grand scheme of things.
