howdy y'all, been a minute since i came to SDN for application advice...

I'm working on entering my publications into ERAS for fellowship and i'm wondering the best way to list a few of my works. I've been an author for multiple editions of a medical related textbook. Its very much formally published but it doesn't quite fit into a "Peer Reviewed Book Chapter" (it's not traditionally peer reviewed, and I contributed throughout the book). Its not really a "scientific monograph" either. Unfortunately there is no "Other Books" option. Any advice on what categorization might be best?

It is a book that will likely be recognizable to most reviewers, so i'm probably just being neurotic and it won't matter in the end, just don't want to misrepresent my work

(Happy to DM more details if needed, just trying not to dox myself more than i already have over the years)

It really doesn't matter. I'd choose peer reviewed book chapter. I assume there's some editor overseeing the whole thing -- so that's a peer review. Even though it isn't exactly a chapter, that makes the most sense. Then explain the actual content involved.

thanks all! makes sense. my contributions are explained elsewhere in my activities so hopefully it will all make plenty of sense to the reviewers, even if the ERAS citation ends up looking a little weird.
