I completed a college credit course in high school where I was given 8 college credits from SUNY Albany. Now, I've never physically attended Albany but I do have 8 college credits from them on my transcript.

Do I list it as one of the schools attended/and do I need to send in a transcript directly from Albany as well, other than my actual college?

Yes. Lol, why wouldn't you?

I have the same situation with a different school, but for AADSAS it doesn't matter and it seems to count as having taken the class at a university eve if you merely took it through a university.

LOL I realized how dumb of a question that was after I hit post reply, my bad. Thanks🙂

Hijacking this thread with a similar question because I'm too lazy to make my own: I attended Rutgers Newark my freshman year and then transferred to the New Brunswick campus. It's the same school, just different campuses but they show up as two different schools on AADSAS. All my grades from Rutgers Newark are on my Rutgers New Brunswick transcript, do I need to have Newark send out a separate transcript?

The wording of instructions says individual transcript for each school attended, I would get separate ones just to be safe.

As someone familiar with Rutgers, I would say go separate. When you're choosing schools theres options to choose newark and new brunswick.

On the AADAS application, for college course work I took in high school, my transcript says I took the classes in the summer before my freshman year. Do I say I did them in the summer or when I actually did them in highschool?

Thank you!

I put them in the semester they are listed as on the college transcript, as that is the only information AADSAS will have to go off of.

Just use the date that shows on your transcript.

Not to hijack but following up on SLDENTAL's question, one of the institutions I took a class in while in high school dates the semester from July 2009 - October 2009. However the class only really lasted for 8 weeks from July-August.

Should I just say July - October since those are the only dates on the transcript?

@imrandom Yeah, just show what's on your transcript. Otherwise, you'll confuse AADSAS, and they'll probably just change it to what your transcript shows anyhow.

@Glimmer1991 Thanks! And also thanks for showing me that you can tag people on posts didn't know that before haha

EDIT: You can like posts too now!!!! Oh how forums have changed

I took classes at community college two summers in a row. Should I list the cc twice with the different dates??
