Listing Schools While Signing up For DAT...

so from what I've read so far on here, as long as you list one school down, you can send your scores to multiple schools after that? i'm confused. how does this work. June is approaching ahhh!

Any schools you want to list are included in your DAT fee. After that it's a chunk of change to send it to a school you didn't select at the time. I'd select any school you would even consider applying to. Maybe even all of them if you don't mind checking a long list.

yeah definitely check off any school that you'd even consider applying to, if not every school on the list. There's no downfall for choosing all of them and it will save you money because you won't have to pay the extra fee later (if you forget to check one that you later want to send your scores to).

Not exactly. I just emailed last week Nicholas at the ADA (the email confirming my DAT registration came from him) and he allowed me to add as many schools as I want, for free. He said there is no fee for adding schools all the way up to my test date.

When you sign up, I'd suggest you check off all the schools. It's going to be an extra annoyance to go back and resend your test score to additional schools & if you don't do it in time, you'll have to pay fees. I say just get it over with and check all the schools. If the schools don't get your app, they'll figure it out.

sorry, my post was a little confusing. It is free up until you take the exam... but I'm pretty sure it's something like $15-20 per school if you decide to add them AFTER taking the exam! just a heads up.

even if you decide not to/ forget to check off schools...by reporting it to 1 school after the fact (only paying the 15 dollar fee once) aadsas still has your scores uploaded to your application. so after you report your score to that one school, you can add more schools and continue on with your app.
