Silly yet serious. Do you think it is appropriate? I think something could be made of it, and it does require time, effort, and I guess leadership.

Please tell me you are joking. Closing threads and banning people does not qualify as an EC.

Well, there are extremes here and there, but you could have these in real life as well. Maybe the mods do want the best, but it is a sensitivity specificity issue which varies from one mod to another. Plus, no one would ever know your manner of modding without a detailed inspection. In the end, I would think it is a significant commitment regardless of these things.

Absolutely include it. You spend time on it, and you're part of the premier site devoted to those pursuing medical professions...it's just as worthwhile as many of the activities others put down in their apps/resumes. It shows you're devoted to your future profession...and with some of the people you deal with on a daily basis, it may indicate other qualities as well...

I don't get this whole situation. Are you thinking about putting it on your AMCAS? Are you even a moderator? What the hell is going on here.

He is a troll. He's not a mod anyway.

Yes, but he got me away from studying bacteriophages for a minute...and for that, he is a scholar and a gentleman.
