listing volunteer/ ECs

I did 3 years of hospital volunteering during HS. Should I list this even though it's not recent?
I've recently been volunteering at a hospital again (since July), but I haven't been "active" during my undergrad years because I got really involved with my student org/ studying abroad.
What do you guys/ ladies think?
I asked my friends and they say yes because it shows that I've been serious about pursuing medicine for some time now.

Any advice would be awesome.

I think AACOMAS (and I know AMCAS does) says to list only experiences you've had since HS. If it was the summer after your senior year of HS and before your freshman year of college, I'd say it is safe. Anytime before that would, in my mind, would not be ok.

The people who are reading this have no idea the listing criteria. I would say put it, as it is rather relavant to demonstrate that you have a bit of experience.
