I am waitlisted at LIU apparently..anyone else? Also I called the school about the waiting list and they said there is no rank since everyone who is waitlisted is deemed for admission. Anyone knows how big the waitlist is? I want this soo bad..

Not for waitlists..according to the letter I got..change is status and notification will be sent out b/w May and September since it varies when a seat opens up..

Although it varies when a seat opens up, there will probably be more taken off the waitlist within the next month, than later on.
Since accepted students need to make their deposit by the end of this week, many transfer acceptancees who have chosen another school will rescind their offers (probably resulting in the majority of available waitlist seats.)
After filling these seats, there will probably be much less movement as the only open seats that will become available will probably be due to any prepharmers losing their conditional acceptances - or you may also have a few people holding spots only as a backup (as they're waitlisted at their first choice school and waiting for a seat.)
Anyway, wishing you luck! Just remember, the worst case scenario would only mean reapplying for the following year - you're still very young and have plenty of time! If you need to begin another application cycle, and have the option to apply the UConn, I'd say GO FOR IT! As an in state student, you'd save a lot of money in the long run 🙂

No this is it for me..if I don't get in, I'm moving on to PA or maybe nursing..that's it..so much money down the drain after all that hard work 😡

Don't get discouraged - you still have a shot as a waitlist candidate.
But, if you really want pharmacy, don't give up if you don't get in this year. There are many three year accelerated programs that you can apply to for 2010 entrance (applying early to rolling admissions schools put you in a better position.) You would end up completing the program at the same time as if you would have started LIU in 2009. It's worth thinking about, as you may regret not pursing pharmacy in the future.

But, if you really want pharmacy, don't give up if you don't get in this year. Yea, but it's not easy to get the money...I'm not spending so much money again just to apply to schools..go through the drug screening again. LIU is too expensive, and yet even if I get a superior 4.0 with excellent PCAT, I'm not going to be favored because I was already rejected once..that's what my counselor says..I don't want to go bankrupt either..I wish it would still be in the cards, but it's not going to be..LIU is messed up big time..

First of all, you weren't rejected, you were waitlisted (big difference!) Also, if you search LIU threads, you'll find that some people who were waitlisted last year, got an acceptance this year - so it can happen.
I agree that LIU is too expensive, but there are so many other schools to look into - LECOM Erie, for one, is a lot cheaper and you'd be finished in 3 years. If you really want it bad enough, don't give up just yet!
Although it's always worth seeking advice from a counselor, I wouldn't take their every word to heart. You cannot categorize every applicant based on grades/PCAT scores - admissions decisions differ from school to school. That is why an applicant can get accepted to one school and not another in the same cycle.

No I didn't apply to Touro..why?

You might have a better chance of getting in to TOURO. If you don't want to waste any more time then apply to LIU and Touro next year as well as to PA or nursing. Keep your options open.
