Live in the bay area and want to form a study group for the Jan MCAT?

HI!

I've called places like TPR and Kaplan and found that the Jan MCAT isn't a big test date for them so their courses in order to prepare for Jan. are few and the schedules aren't really do-able for me. I was wondering if any of you out there who live near or in San Francisco would like to form a study group and try to see if we could hire a tutor to help us out. I'm a post-bacc student at SFSU and I saw a bunch of emails last semester from people forming study groups and hiring a tutor etc. Anyone interested?

I'm in!! I work at UCSF too and live in Inner Sunset. I don't know if I want to spend the money on a tutor since I've already spent tons on almost every mcat prep book available, but I'm definitely down for group studying and moral support!

Notageek- which UCSF campus do you work at? I'm at Parnassus.

I'm actually taking the test on the 3rd of September...But I'm not sure of how it will go...If I feel that it didn't go well then I would be taking it again In January as well...In that case I would love to join a study group...

The only problem is...I'm in Maryland 🙁

Is there anyone in Maryland (Rockville, Bethesda area) who would want to start a study group fro the January- February (2009) MCAT...Please Send a PM if interested....

I would be willing to work with you guys in California if the internet seems to be a good way to communicate...🙂
