Just seeing if anyone else is/was in my situation. My Livescan got rejected by the FBI because the livescan operator put in the wrong reason code. She was suppose to input pharmacist license but instead inputted general licensing only.

Anyone know how much this will delay my licensing process? Also, I'd really like a refund for wasting $70 the first time and losing a week's worth of pharmacist's pay. Anyone know if they do refunds?

My livescan also got rejected! I did not find this out until I have passed my CPJE. I still don't know why the board did not tell me earlier!

I did it again at a police station and I believe it was completed in a week? It was fast.

The CA BOP is truly ridiculous.

My coworker started the process in March, I started in April (submitted in May - took forever to get the paperwork back from a couple other states I'm licensed in).

My other friends who finished PGY-2 the same time I did are all working. This is beyond stupid and unprofessional.

This happened to me a while back. Knowing there is now more budget cut, it would not surprise me if it takes longer to get this resolve.

yea, I got my livescan done back in May, thinking that I was on top of it. I also went to a police station thinking that they would be legit but.... tomorrow I'm going to go to a different livescan site and triple check what they are inputting tomorrow 😛

I would highly recommend checking the status of your livescan fingerprints before getting licensed =)

Found this tip sheet on the internet. Good reading to prevent this from happening to others....

STEPS TO ENSURE THE LIVE SCAN FORM IS COMPLETED ACCURATELY BY
THE LIVE SCAN OPERATOR
It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that the information the Live Scan operator types into the computer system is correct before to the Live Scan operator submits the transmission. Please direct them to verify the following information is correct:
• The Live Scan operator selects BOTH the DOJ and FBI prior to submitting the request. If FBI is not selected at the time of original transmission, the applicant may be required to have their Live Scan redone at another time and have to repay for the DOJ and FBI levels of services again. The Board has been notified by the DOJ that effective 9/1/07; if the FBI level of service is not requested at the time of original transmission both DOJ and
FBI levels of service will have to be redone. Any issue of cost for resubmission should be handled at the Live Scan Site.
• Verify on the Live Scan operator’s computer that the below information has been typed correctly.
o Full Name is spelled correctly and matches the applicant’s I.D (Jr., II, etc must be included in the name). The applicant’s name must match your full name on your application.
o Date of Birth is correct
o US Social Security Number is entered and correct. This is required and must be entered.
o License type needs to be entered as indicated on the Live Scan form. They must complete the Live Scan form that accompanies that application.

The Board has seen an increase in the number of Live Scan transmissions where the name, date of birth, or the U.S. social security number has been entered incorrectly or does not IDENTICALLY match the applicant’s identification and the name of record on the application.

If such information is entered incorrectly, the applicant will be required to redo the Live Scan process again. This is usually at the expense of the applicant. This will result in a delay in processing their application.

Coworker just had this happen. Such bull. I'm calling my state senator if I don't have a license number by Friday. This is unacceptable.

and now, 4 months after I submitted them, they are rejecting the fingerprints Ihad done done on cards out of state.

on my effing birthday. I just might be homicidal today. I just want a paycheck people.

Oh no!!! Could they seriously not have said something months ago. I'm assuming they're going to make you do live scan since you're in-state now.
