Hey can any current NYITCOM students comment on how viable it is to live in Queens and commuting to school? Do many students do it?

I was thinking of using a car to commute to school and then public transportation for whenever I want to go into the city
I will be driving from queens to nyitcom campus tomorrow, in fact.
A LOT of us do stuff like this. You dont have to be on campus every day unless you want to attend lecture
No traffic for me is around 40 mins. Traffic probably an hour
I'd say it's the most annoying first semester first year because you'll probably want to be on campus a lot because of anatomy
