I was just wondering when and how LLU sends out acceptances. I saw on predents that the earliest people got accepted last year was Dec. 13. Anyone know what their timeline is this year?

I know that it takes one to two weeks for your interviewer to write up a report on you where you receive a score based on your interview, GPA, DAT, and community service. The higher your score the sooner you are discussed at the admissions committee meeting. They meet every Friday and if you are accepted they notify you the next week. I'm not sure if its by phone or mail.

do you know the score scale? like from 1-100 or 0-25?

LLU Applicants:

Here is what I heard from Loma Linda: The Admissions Committee got a late start on reviewing applicants. Since mid-November they have been unable to get the entire admissions committee together because so many have been ill. They were met for the first time last Friday (12-08-2006). They apologized for the delay and said they would have their first wave out soon.

Hope this helps!

Wow, that explains why I've waited 6 weeks. Thanks.

this is kinda irrelevant to the op's question, but do u guys know how many non-Christian students get accepted to LLU?

according to the interviewer, the focus isn't just on who is SDA or not, but rather who would fit in the school's environment and, more importantly, who would be happy there. since the school is based on christian beliefs, a christian person (preferrably practicing) would probably fit better in the environment. However, a non-christian who is quite tolerant would probably have as good a chance. that's just my opinion.

That was my understanding as well. Man I'd love to hear from them before Christmas!

are you sure the scale is 100? because I saw my score was int he 20s. Does anyone saw your score?

I was just wondering when and how LLU sends out acceptances.

I think never! I got rejected before my application was even complete... lol, but seriously I don't know why they hate me. My family lives in Corona, it's like a 15 min. drive to the school... good for nothing location.

I don't know what the scale was on. I tried keeping eye contact with my interviewer so I never really saw what she was writing about me. Esther was really nice and easy to talk to but for some reason I felt that I screwed a couple questions up. I got caught off guard when asked what I struggle with ethicly. I said that I could have a little temper when things aren't going very smoothly. I think that was the wrong way to answer the question. LLU was a great school though and I am interested to see where I stand on their list.

my interviewer never wrote anything. is that a bad sign?

Got my acceptance in the mail today!!

I got my acceptance in mail yesterday!!!
I live about an hour away from LLU. All of you who interviewed there and haven't received anything, just hang in there. You will soon receive the acceptance letter!!!

ooohhh 3 people have been accepted to LLU on predents.com. lucky!!! this is making me more anxious.

I am still waiting to hear. I am in AZ and my mail doesn't get to the house until three. Hopefully I will hear something whether it be good news or bad news.

Hey CBC! Remember when we were at that party in high school and you pooped your pants, then we had to take you out back and hose you off? Did you tell them about that at your interview?

for those who got accepted....did loma linda call you and let you know you got accepted?

Loma Linda only sent me a letter to notify me. No phone call, no e-mail.
