I would just tell him to write about your characteristics based off of how well he knows you and how dedicated you are to your faith? That is if he knows you really well. I would make it more of a personality and moral type letter.

I think your pastor should write about your faith and how religious you are. I'm pretty sure they have seen you characteristics and strength from other LOR so one from pastor would mostly be based how you will become successful in LLU with your faith.

Agreed...but having a pastor reiterate your morals and personality traits might help them see who you are from their perspective along with how serious you are about your faith...just my opinion though
