Greetings Pre-Vet students!

My name is Andrea, and I'm a second year veterinary student at LMU, along with my colleague Julissa. We are reaching out to invite you on a 10 day trip to Costa Rica to assist at the La Suerte Biological Field Station operated by the Maderas Rainforest Conservancy! This is an incredible opportunity to receive hands-on experience with diagnostics, treatments, and practicing clinical skills. This trip is designed as an educational opportunity for undergraduate students interested in pursuing veterinary medicine. Our flyer is attached!

What: High Quality/High Volume Spay and Neuter Opportunity and Pre-Veterinary Experience

Where: Primavera, Costa Rica at the Maderas Rainforest Conservatory. See the MRC website for more information about the conservancy at https://maderasrfc.org/

When: June 10th - June 19th 2025

Cost: $2,250: includes registration fees, station/program fees, three meals a day at field site, room and board at MRC facility, group chartered transport. Does NOT include airfare or arrival and departure meals/hotel rooms. Payment plans offered!

Purpose: Educating and mentoring future veterinary students while hosting a community spay, neuter, and wellness clinic in the community of Primavera.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply what you've learned in classes to real-world applications, give back to a community in need, and explore and experience the beautiful country of Costa Rica! (Plus practice some medical Spanish!)

If you are interested in more information regarding this amazing opportunity, please reach out to us!

Thank you,
