Does anyone have experience with loan forgiveness programs. I was just accepted to UIC's online DrPH and the pricetag is fairly high. I'm pretty dedicated to public service and don't see moving into the private sector in my career. I've looked over some documents from the Department of Education and I see they have a program where if you work in public service they will forgive your loan after 10 years.
I was just curious if anyone has any experience with this. It kind of seems too good to be true. Though after ten years I'll probably have the thing paid off anyway 🙂.
