Do most ppl consolidate their student loans before starting residency?Does anyone know a company that will consolidate private loans without a co-signer?

I'm now over 2 1/2 years into residency, and I have the same problem! I've been able to find information on consolidating private loans, but they don't allow you to put the loans on deferment once consolidated. Ugh!
