I've settled on one acceptance and am holding onto one waitlist right now; I really love the waitlist school, and if they accept me, I have every intention of going. But I'm not sure how that will work with my financial aid stuff.
Since I have one acceptance, I'll be moving forward with applying for loans to be disbursed based on that school's cost of attendance. But let's say that my waitlist comes back to me like 4 days before classes start--would I be able to transfer my loans to that school? The waitlist school also has a slightly higher COA (which I'm ok with), so would I be able to get the additional loans to cover the difference in time?
I will direct these questions to the financial aid office of the school but would be interested to hear if anybody else has any thoughts & experiences on this.
