Hello everyone,

I had a question regarding the loan for the IDS program. I have been selected to UOP. I have a relative who is a Canadian citizen and has agreed to cosign on the loan. Is it ok? are there any banks that would allow a Canadian citizen to cosign?

please do let me know....thank you!

Hi....i dont know if there is any bank in the US that will allow a Canadian citizen to cosign. But you can get loans from Canadian Banks i guess. Best bet would be to call the financial aid office and ask them your doubts. If you havent already joined the Facebook group of the IDS class of 2011 plz do so...

hello,
you can apply for canadian loans if you have a canadian cosigner with good credit history.. 🙂 TD , Scotia Bank and RBC are the big players... they all offer 150,000 for FTDs going to US schools.👍

You really wanna ask lenders and banks directly about this, my guess is you'll e better served by a Canadian lender. Good Luck at the Pacific, you will love it 👍
