Hi everybody.

I am "loan shopping." (Stafford)

Here is what I have found so far, please enlighten me:

1. T.H.E. Loan: 6.8%, no rate reductions, 1.3% Repayment Bonus. Basically, 1.3% of the remaining balance is put towards the principal each month.

2. PNC Bank: 0.25% reduction for auto-pay sign-up, 1% reduction after 24 payments, additional 1% reduction after 36 payments.

3. citi: 0.25% reduction for auto-pay sign-up, 1% reduction at start of repayment.

Are there any better loans out there?? Right now I'm thinking choice #2 is the winner.

I appreciate any input.

Thanks!

I'm in the same position. I used Student Loan Express until they were investigated by the feds. I switched to T.H.E.

Any reviews on Bank Of America?

I feel that Citigroup and BoA do not have student interests on their minds.
