If we already filled out our FAFSA, will the school we are attending contact us about our loan being disbursed to us when school starts on their own? Or is there another step we have to take? I’m a bit confused as to how this works.

If we already filled out our FAFSA, will the school we are attending contact us about our loan being disbursed to us when school starts on their own? Or is there another step we have to take? I’m a bit confused as to how this works.

If you have been fully admitted to the school, the school will contact you before you even start classes because you need to go through the matriculation process (immunizations, classes registration, etc). Each school is different but you know your financial aid before you start classes. Contact the school if you haven’t gotten anything yet and you are starting classes Fall 2018
