Hi all.
Many apologies if this is in the wrong forum.
Earlier today I was injected with a mix of steroids and local anesthetic into my left knee, right into the joint because I get severe pains in my knee and I have done for a few years. My consultant said I will get this done a maximum of 3 times a year. My understanding is that local anesthetic only last a couple of hours and my Dad who is a haematologist thought the same. Is there a local anesthetic that lasts long term?
