Hi everyone,

In the letters of recommendation section on the application, what is the purpose of those statements?

-I waive my right of access to this evaluation. I understand that I will not be permitted to access this evaluation.

-I do not waive my right of access” to this evaluation.

Which one am I supposed to choose? And who would not allow himself to read an evaluation?

You waive your rights! They don't want you reading your own letters of rec. because then the letter writer might be influenced to be somewhat dishonest by not putting down weaknesses and "over-hyping" you.
