Ugh... I check it at least 40 times a day.
How about everyone else.
How about everyone else.
My phone displays every email I get on the lock screen with the subject, sender. Constant anxiety man.
I love how this post starts with "Lol... "
As for the question, depends how busy I am at work that day.
Slow days --> SDN, email constantly
On busy days, just once when I leave the lab.
I also find that I rarely look at my email in the evenings, assuming II's dont often get sent after work hours
Yeah, I actually received my first one at 10pm on a Friday. The rest though have been during business hours. All three of mine have come either in the evening or on weekends.
It feels way more intense. Like I proposed, dang it, give me an answer.Too often. I feel like a girl waiting for a guy to call me back after a first date..
BRO I thought I was the only one! About the flip phone though, not about the checking email - I do that constantly... 😛You guys are so fancy. I still use this:

No obsessive II checking here.
This can happen? 😱 Why would they send more invites than they had slots?I bought a 3G phone 5 years ago for residency applications so that I could respond to interview invites quickly, my first 'smart' phone. I remember getting out of a case and because I was an hour and a half late didn't get an interview spot at the place (ran out of slots). Felt so ****ty, but in retrospect didn't mean a damn thing.

*everyone on this thread increases checking frequency by a factor of 10*
lol nahI feel like @avgn will pop in here and laugh at us. 😛
Fun fact: you can forward emails with certain key words (e.g. "Interview") to your text messages. Cuts down on the compulsive email checking by 3000%. Consider that a gift from those of us currently panicking over residency interview invites.
