There's a few paragraphs detailing this but here's the synopsis. They say you have to wear shirts that can be worn with a tie. (You don't have to wear a tie). People wear short sleeve button ups to meet that criteria. You're not suppose to wear jeans. I'm not sure what the girl's requirements are.

If not the above, you're suppose to wear scrubs. That's what I do almost everyday. It's like wearing my pjs to school.

The idea is...Look Professional.

With that said, everybody breaks the rules all the time and, for the most part, nobody breaks their balls about it. There were a couple times where our class was reminded to keep the dress code. I imagine they'll get more strict soon.

I'll add a ditto on that. First year you are barely in the school cause you are taking basic sciences. A lot of people break the dress code. Just don't push to far when you are up on clinic. Its not that bad. Closed toed shoes and no dangling earrings for Girls and none for guys are some that weren't mentioned yet. The whole professional image. Good luck.

It's worth mentioning that the scrubs are supposed to be light or dark blue.
