I'm not christian. Do I even stand a chance at getting in? I applied there, because I didn't mind attending a christian school - (the idea was actually appealing to me), but now I wonder if their ad coms want a non-christian attending their school!

I was hoping some non-christians that attend (or attended) Loma Linda could provide some insight as to the reasons why they think they got accepted. BTW, this is assuming that any non-christians got in the school in the first place.

I would really like to get accepted to LL, but my gpa is, well, around 3.0, and I'll be taking the dat soon, maybe august.

Should I be making weekly trips to the church? Or do you think I'll be allright if I just study very hard, and hopefully do very well on the DAT?

Amen

Ianwright, you have very good shot. Just need 25's in DAT.

PS. Do you know you are averaging 20 posts per day.

25's on DAT? That must be a joke, yaar! If anyone can give me a serious answer, then I'd appreciate very much.

BTW, go to the Lounge, and you will find a thread that is titled 'increase your post count here', I am addicted to that Thread!

hey man, dont worry about it. i didnt practice christianity either. at the interview I even told the dean, who interviewed me, that i dont go to church and not really religious, but im open to it. they main thing they are looking for is that you are community-oriented, open-minded and family-oriented. if you got those three qualities and/or mention them in the interview then you are in. and trust me yoru gpa is not that big of a deal. get over 3.0 do well on DATS and most importantly, the main factor Loma Linda looks at is extracurriculars and commmunity work because that it what they are all about. that is the main reason why i got in. well good luck man and email me if you got any more questions. laters
