What is with their secondary???

How religious are they? Should i nto bother filling out secondary?

I am asking myself that question. Got the secondary today, and I cant complete the religous requirement. So looks like I am not going here.

All I know for sure is that you can't drink and you must observe their religious day. Also, if you check the objectives of the school, one of the first goals is to spread the word of God...or something along those lines...so I'd say on a scale of 1 to ultra religious...they rank at the top

If you read their Dental Hygine admission req., you would find out how much they weigh religion in their acceptance.

Do not apply if you think you can't live with their rules. I know for sure they make you sign the paper when you get accepted. It is contract BETWEEN you and LLU. I know you think I will get in and do it in my own home. Who cares?

They know... That's biggest reason why they are admitting large number of Mormons... along with SDA😎

If prayer in the classroom bothers you, you might not like it here and should look into going somewhere else. As far as those who don't have an ecclesiastical letter writer - a few of my classmates just found someone who filled that role in their life. Is there someone you would talk to about personal matters and seek advice? It's mostly a character reference so just do the best you can.

The only way the "spreading the gospel" mission will affect you is this: LLU has (in my opinion) the best service program around. They do dental mission trips all over the world between quarters and during the Christmas and Summer breaks - the student pays 1/3 of the travel cost and the alumni/wealthy church members pick up the rest of the tab. Although I haven't taken advantage of this yet, my classmates have been to Madagascar, Costa Rica, Fiji, etc. - all kinds of cool places.
