Hi,
I received interview letter from lomalinda, it is on oct 9.Can anyone shed their ideas on their interview process? They say we don't require any additional preparation.Anyone who attended their interviews ,please let me know how their selection process works.

Hi I do not know anything about the interview but I also interested in Loma Linda. Could you tell us what scores did you get in the NDB. I want to know if i have any chance.

My scores are 89,85,3.30.They require part-2.

Am being invited for the lomalinda dextrity and interview,, could anyone please tell me what this DEXTRITY TEST all about ??????????????
I have no idea.

Also i was wondering if anyone would be ready to share accomadation with me for the same at loma linda...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys...I was interviewed last year in Loma Linda.... The facts that I know of is...there were more than 130 students who were called for... U have 4 exercises and about 1 hr 30 mins each.... I would say if you really want to get into LomaLinda u have to practise unless u are a very naturally dexterous person... Its not that easy of a task and I knew most of the people who got in really practised those stuff...I'm not kidding...

The exercises were
1. U have to make a cube using Sticks...they will tell u the dimension--- Like the sides of the cube were an Inch for us...U have to use stickywax as fixture... For me it was tough--- as the sticky wax was not that tough it was breaking all the time....and the cube should be symmetrical too...so watch out guys...its better to take some time off and work on these.----One thing I wanted to mention was the exercises were basically the same last year and the year before...

2. U have to bend ortho wire accoring to the drawing which they will provide u...its kinda tricky...lot of curves and bends --- Watchout it should be on one plane

3. U have to carve a molar in Modelling clay ---- they will give u a model of the Molar -- We had to do the lower Ist molar --- they might give u a different molar ---but the exercise is the same... and the molar u carve should be more or less the same dimension as that of the model they give u --- the height width and all that stuff

4. This exercise is u have to carve the letter "T" and "U" on the plaster cube... they will give u the dimension -- how much width and the bend should be....

After being to the interview I would strongly suggest u guys to have a look at these stuff.... Since it is a cheaper school and the duration of the program is also small...y not give the exercises a try....

and another thing is if u want to book a flight try to go for the Ontario airport in California -- since LAX is far---

They will let u know the results on the same day and those who are selected will be called for the interview nextday

Hi , Im new to SDN. Im goin on OCT 9 th for the dext. test. Can you tell me what kind of sticks were they, do u have to cut and measure them, if so do they give you instruments and all the other necessary stuff. Also what guauge wire did you use? Do you have any idea if they ever ask about any cavity or crown preps?Thanks .
