Has any one encountered long division in real thing?

e.g (t^2+2t+4) / (t+1) - one of top score example.

Nope didn't have anything like that on mine. Most of it was trig, word problems, and simple statistics.

these are really easy
heck, if you forget long division, you could even just multiply each of the answers by the denominator to see if you get the numerator.

I know the long division (not by multiplying the answer but real steps..it's kind of easy)..just wanted to see if it has appeared in real thing !!!
