Hello, I am a rising junior looking to gradually begin MCAT prep. I know I work best slowly and consistently, and I've been reading the UWorld MCAT books for Behavioral Sciences and Physics, respectively, for the past few days (I've only been doing a few pages of reading a day, so it's been very passive). I've been reading these two books to help prepare myself for my Physics and Psychology classes in the fall.

I'd ideally like to take the MCAT by August 2026. I don't think I'd work well under the typical 3-month turnaround that I've heard most people do, and my grasp of Gen Chem and Orgo is weak. That said, I'm unsure how to study/review these while staying on top of physics and psychology, which I've heard are graded harshly at my school. I'd appreciate any feedback on where to go from here, if you've seen any students study at a slower/more gradual pace successfully, and if there's anything else I should keep in mind when preparing for the MCAT.

Thank you for reading! Have a nice day.
