I've posted this twice before, both times in the Allopathic forum, so I thought I'd ask in here. I'll leave out all of the background, set up, and fluff from the previous posts and just ask: What do you think of a longitudinal approach to 3rd year curriculum (i.e. surg, neuro, psych, and IM for 24 weeks... and fam med, peds, and OB for 24 weeks) versus the traditional approach (i.e. discrete 8 week blocks of the previous)? I am currently slated to go longitudinal at an alt campus.
Anyone ever done this before for third year? (BTW, 4th year is just like the traditional program)
Thanks... (sorry to those that have heard this before on the Allo forum)
