If anyone else out there is having to do the new Longitudinal Assessment for Board Recert for ACOFP in the next year. Just FYI, if you choose OMM as one of your 3 subjects to be tested on, I found the questions to be nearly impossible to answer and that is not worth the headache to go down that road. Was stressing just trying to pass the stupid thing. You get to pick the 3 subjects you want to be tested on, I should have picked cardiology which I totally despise and I probably would have done so much better. The questions were that hard. I only got a 50% on that section. I went into it with a 98% and just barely passed because of how the questions were worded. I'm just so angry.

Further proof to myself, and any new residents reading for that matter, why you should ditch this parasitic, useless DO organization as soon as you possibly can.

In retrospect, I’m glad I got kicked out of the stupid longitudinal assessment by being 1 whole day late on a module. Thanks ABFM.

I’m far from a genius. I did a $1,000 subscription to one of the online board review resources. The recorded lectures were to the point and well done. The q bank was awesome and very true to what was on the exam itself.

I passed my 10 year recertification board exam in 2022 easily. I’ll probably go this route again in the next go round.
