Longs Drugs ??

Does anyone work for longs? Can you tell me what do u think of longs drugs..
I got offer from them and currently working for CVS..and don;t like CVS system...and Longs offer was much better than CVS ..Any help???

I would be carefull with Long's. They are having some finacial difficulties and honestly, I do not think they will be around much longer (more than 10 years). They just closed down all of their stores in Colorado and I believe a few other states.

I used to moonlight for them when I was stationed in San Diego. Their computer system stinks. This was in 2003-2004, so might have changed by now. The techs weren't good either, except for a few.

who did u interview with? initials DR or BB?

they wanted 3 year commitment

and to float

pay was less than CVS

Yes 3 years commitement..Socal..DR...🙂 I hope they changed their system..cause i don't like CVS system either..

I currently work at Longs in Hawaii as a Tech and it's not that bad. Yeah, I have heard from others that our workflow is a little out dated, but I think that they have sacrificed some features for the sake of ease to learn. Pay wise it's not that great. Currently I get around 10 dollars an hour and I've been working there for almost a year. However we do get paid holidays as well as vacations. I think that the best bit is the employee discount. It used to be cost + 10% but now they have increased it to cost + 15%, and as a part time college student, that's the best part.
