Hey guys,

I recently got accepted into PCO and am now looking for housing and a roommate. I have been researching places quite a bit and have settled for Wyncote, although open to other places/suggestions as well. I do not have a car and living walking distance to the university is a must. A little about myself: I am a 22 year old female and am from Canada. I am quiet, neat, courteous, and very easy-going. PM me if anyone is in the same boat as me!🙂

That's the way to do it. My ad. would read, "I'm noisy, messy, and a generally violent and cantankerous bastard."

I am interviewing at PCO this week. What hotels are worth staying at?

I'm kinda on the same boat as you...but I haven't really started looking into housing yet! I'm a 23 year old femald from Canada...😀 and am neat, courteous, quiet, and easy going!
Have you went to Philly to actually look at housing yet? or just internet browsing?!

lol thanks guys. Glad you find my (stressful) situation entertaining😎.

Sfopt, no I haven't been to Philly since my interview. I wish I looked at some housing while I was there! But I will have to find a place via internet browsing unfortunately. How about you? Got any places you find interesting.

Bigdumy, I stayed at a hotel near the airport (Hilton). There are tons there and are pretty convenient. Just take the shuttle to the airport and from there take a train to Jenkingtown and walk 15 mins to the Univ.

i called PCO about the housing options and apparently after we get accepted the school is going to send us a blackboard username and password where we could look at different housing options and if we want to be paired up with a roommate.

I was accepted in November and still have not received any of that information.

optgurl05: I have an interview at PCO the first week of March. Kinda wondering the same thing about transportation and hotel situation. Do you mean that we can take the shuttle to the airport from the hotel on the interview date? Then, take the train to Jenkingtown and walk 15mins to the University? If I didnt want to walk, are there Taxis at the train station to the University? Thank you!🙂

Hi Thazin, yep that's what I did on my interview day. The train ride will be around 40 mins. And there are taxis at the train station if you don't want to walk. Goodluck on your interview.
