I'm 27 years old and have been working as a FF/paramedic for about 6 years now. I had a bad start to my academic career when I was 18, which resulted in 4 F's and 2 W's.
I've since brought my overall GPA to 2.93 with 43 credit hours completed at a local CC over the course of a few years. Haven't taken any of my science courses yet thankfully, but my dilemma is that I want to be able to do school full time at the state university, so I can truly give my best effort and excel.
I share custody with my 2yo and have him a little less than half of the month and my work schedule is very unconventional, so working while doing school full time doesn't seem realistic. I'm just looking for any tips or guidance from someone who has been in my shoes. I know without a doubt I want to be a physician, I'm just a bit overwhelmed looking down this path. Thanks!
