I plan on applying to few a schools with fairly high averages for acceptances . Schools like PCOM, TCOM, AZCOM, and MSUCOM along with all texas med schools. I have a 3.73cGPA, 3.59sGPA, 25 MCAT, 200+ hours of clinical experience in an ER working with DOs and MDs, plus strong ECs. My MCAT was PS-8, VR-8, BS-9. I also plan to TA for human anatomy labs this coming year and do research. I am applying now to MD, DO, and a few carribean schools. I have an open mind but would like to stay close to home (in Texas) or in the US. Any advice/suggestions? I've also been getting emails via Med-MAR about schools to consider and would appreciate advice on that as well. I am white non-hispanic, but disadvanted (35K for household growing up).
