Hi everyone!
I'm looking for information about the impact of losing access to treatment on a patient's psychological well-being. I'm interested in the marginalization of people with contested illnesses, and I'd really appreciate your help in locating resources so that I can learn more about it. I know that many people feel extremely depressed when they loose access to a treatment that has been working for them, and there have been cases of suicide under such circumstances. So what I'm specifically looking for are both articles that study the correlation to try to determine causation, prevalence, etc of this phenomenon, and also qualitative studies examining and theorizing about patient experience under such circumstances.
Even if you can't recommend specific articles, I'd also really appreciate tips for where to look and how to phrase this search to find relevant search results.
Many thanks in advance for your help and for reading!
