Hello all,
I am a senior bioengineering student that is also planning on going to medical school (waiting to hear about interviews!). Orthopedic Surgery is one of our topics of interest (also my hopeful career path) and I am reaching out to ask any residents or physicians if during your career you have noticed any unmet clinical needs that could serve as the basis of my senior design project.
A little background: This is a year-long course designed to give us experience with the biomedical design process, the FDA, and IRB regulations. As such, this project would ideally be able to make it through the IRB by the end of the year, and maybe even result in an FDA submission to try to get this product to market.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated, and I would love to talk to anyone that provides some comments!
