Hi all - I'm looking for an MCAT mentor. Preferably someone who has a similar background as myself/has nailed the test themselves.

Brief background:
  • Bio major, graduated 2013 - 3.0 GPA
  • Got A's and B's in A&P and Bio type courses, but struggled with Chem and Physics (low B's and C's)
  • This will be my first time taking the MCAT, been too scared to take it the last couple of years due to my lack of confidence w/ Chem & Physics - still scared, but I want to give it a shot now because after having a few different career experiences, I believe medicine is the right path for me. I'd hate to let one (very difficult) test stand in the way of that.
  • Plan to apply SMP after taking MCAT (applied to a few last year and didn't get in - was told by many that I'd be more competitive after taking MCAT, and doing well obv)
I'm looking for an MCAT mentor because I don't know where to start. My current plan:
  • 3-4 months of studying
    • Content review for the first 1.5-2 months
    • TPR prep course the last 2 months
    • Take MCAT in August
Not looking for someone to lean on, just someone I can ask questions and seek study advice from along the way (via email or whatever).

Any MCAT experts out there willing to help out?
