I'm in the process of getting together a list of programs I want to apply to as a back up to MD/PhD. I was hoping people might have a program or two that caught their attention at some point and can suggest as something worth looking into.
For the sake of example, two programs I first heard about here that really caught my interest were:
NIH IRTA
http://www.training.nih.gov/student/Pre-IRTA/irtamanualpostbac.asp
NCI Molecular Target and Drug Discovery Fellowship
http://advanced.jhu.edu/academic/biotechnology/fellowship/
I'm having a hard time defining a solid criteria for what I'm looking for so I leave it to whatever any of you feel is a program worth investigating. (Though I'm focusing on biotech/engineering.)
