I am looking for an osteopathic physician to shadow in Houston, Texas (I live in Sugar Land, Texas). I have called a lot of doctors offices/clinics, most were telling me that they do not allow students to shadow. I have also dropped off my resume in some offices and still no responds yet. Please does anyone know any osteopathic physician in Houston, Texas that would allow me to shadow them, prefer OBGYN or pediatrics but any specialty is fine. Thanks.

I am also looking for an osteopathic physician to shadow in Houston with no luck. Please let me know if you were able to find one.

Reach out to the TCOM alumni or admissions office because they'll have contacts with many D.Os working in Texas. Let them know that you're interested in the profession and wondering if they would help you find an alumni to contact in your area. It's worked for some of my friends in TX

Try smaller clinics or practices. I’m not in Texas but if you go in person and speak with them you may have more luck as well. At least whoever is up front can put a face to a name when they speak to the physician.
